Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. As an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Cieslak manages a wide variety of problems relating to the Mouth, Teeth and Facial Regions. Dr. Cieslak practices a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from Cosmetic Facial Surgery to Corrective Jaw Surgery and Wisdom Teeth Removal. He can also diagnose and treat Facial Pain, Facial Injuries, and performs an exstensive range of Dental Implant procedures.

Surgical Staff
The surgical staff at Louisville Oral Surgery are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration and surgery. All staff are CPR certified and have taken the anesthesia course provided by (AAOMS). Dr. Cieslak 's staff is trained in assisting with general anesthesia sedation and or nitrous oxide. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. Dr. Cieslak's office meets the high standards required by the Kentucky Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (KSOMS) for providing in office anesthesia for patients saftey and comfort.

****After researching three oral surgeons, I chose Dr. Cieslak. He extracted old broken teeth and placed implants in upper and lower gums. I chose a very inexperienced dentist to complete the procedures that resulted in very unsatisfactory results. After he gave up on my problems, Dr. Cieslak is completing my work that the dentist was supposed to do. It is very unusual to find a doctor that will go above and beyond his realm of responsibility but he did. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing dental implants and/or extractions.
